It was generally a nice article, I guess, but what distressed me were the "Comments" at the end of the article. There were eight pages of rants (pro and con) from some disturbing folks who definitely didn't like each other since they represented two opposing views on what Appalachia is. I got the feeling that I didn't care much for either side.Gary Cardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17487971272055031915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5533056.post-58518331985741246682009-03-18T23:10:00.000-04:002009-03-18T23:10:00.000-04:00may he live his next life as colorfully as he live...may he live his next life as colorfully as he lived this one, but be able to find peace in it.Haydenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02758977872663382006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5533056.post-5383634154255952352009-03-17T16:39:00.000-04:002009-03-17T16:39:00.000-04:00Hey Rosie,How you doin' Honey-chile? Really happy for ya!

Sorry to hear about Popcorn Sutton. Sometimes I think the "law" should just leave some people alone. There are a lot of people doing a lot worse things and they are still walking the streets. Poor guy!

Anyway, have a good week and Happy first Day of Spring on Friday.
Oh and Happy St. Paddy's Day.Leeunahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16287808402091715131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5533056.post-50093990786011324362009-03-17T14:17:00.000-04:002009-03-17T14:17:00.000-04:00What ever the circumstances of Popcorn's death... ...What ever the circumstances of Popcorn's death... may he rest in peace. I had earlier heard that he had shot himself, but that turns out not to be true.
Gary CardenGary Cardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17487971272055031915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5533056.post-3954688998371395262009-03-17T02:33:00.000-04:002009-03-17T02:33:00.000-04:00Wow. But it sounds (from what you've written about him) that he lived his life the way he wanted to; he made some pretty definitive choices anyway.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
