And now, for another installment of the popular "Goats in Chairs" series. Same goat, different chair. We will resume the "Friend Scott" story cycle on Monday.

This is for The Friday Ark Carnival...a couple of days late...since...well...you all know what I'm doing on Fridays.

Another photo for my wallpaper>>TWO OF MY FAVORITE THINGS in one place. Goats and CHAIRS.

Because I am never one to ignore a chair at a yard sale, HH says when we retire, he is going to build me a barn for all my chairs...I can hang them from the wall, I can sell them to strangers, but they will all be housed inside said barn. And on the roof he will paint in twenty foot block letters, instead of "SEE ROCK CITY", "HAVE A SEAT".

Goats and chairs. Like chocolate and peanut butter, sex and cigarettes...a classic combination.

    Hey,

The Trencamps lost little Zadie, the ewe lamb, to bloat last night so I'll be picking little Elizabeth back up here this evening, I think. If not, extremely soon. Poor Beth is heartbroken.

I'm heartbroken to hear that, Betsy. I loved that little lamb, she was a real beauty. I know there was some doubt that she had gotten sufficient colostrum and I remember them talking about switching to replacer. As you know, I'm not a big fan of replacer due to my own bloat experience with it. Though I know now that I was doing it wrong and feeding too much, but I don't seem to be the only one who is down on the replacer. I'm just so, so sorry. Hope lizzie is okay.

I just love BossyToe! She's such a character. I'm really glad you found time to post pix to the Ark. I'm not the only one who'll fall in love with your kids!

I'm sorry to hear about little Zadie. I don't care what kind of critter it is, if it's stolen your heart, it also has the power to break your heart.

Your series has been so good this week, I forgot to mention this photography series; every time I see that porch and pasture I want to cry like a child.
